Study info:
Dear imagery research enthusiasts,
My collaborators and I from the Department of Psychology at the University of Liverpool would like to invite you to take part in a new online research project.
This study will assess how your experiences with mental imagery affect memory recall. During the study, you will be asked to read 2 short stories and watch 2 short videos. You will then answer some questions about the videos and stories you have seen. You will also complete a creativity test and some short questionnaires. This should take approximately 30 minutes. The study is best supported on Google Chrome.
If you choose to participate, you will receive follow-up memory tests one week and one year from the completion of part 1. You will be asked to complete a few short questions based on the videos or stories that you were originally shown. The follow-up sessions will take approximately 5-10 minutes.
To take part in this study, you should meet the criteria:
- Aged 18 years and above
- Normal or corrected-to-normal vision (i.e. wearing glasses is fine)
- Fluent in English
